I walked around downtown Provo this past week running some film through another of my little babies, my Yaschica Electro 35. I was very pleased with her behavior, she didn't even complain once about being dragged all over town in the freezing cold. Bless her!

after a very long wait, we received the newest member of our ever growing family today. she came to us at 4:15 p.m. weighing 1 lb. 6 oz. with a 40mm f1.7 lens and beautiful chrome accents. both the father and newborn are healthy and happy.

i shot the Schwarzmann family this afternoon, some good kids with a cute kid. the little one was being a bit of a fuss, but i would too if i had flashes going off in my eyes. really though, what kid is happy to have their pic taken, besides those creepy hollywood-type kids that are practicing in the mirror at the age of 4 to be cabaret dancers.

i went camping this weekend with some really cool cats and took this while enjoying some nice fireside tunes. it's a 12 second exposure from my lil point n shooter, which i love and took all of the NY trip with, and was handheld against the truck bed. i'm pleased with the organic results.

the first of many. i'm really excited about my Color Photo final project, i'm doing architectural photography and focusing on UVU campus. it works nicely since i'm always on campus and don't have to find time to go out and shoot, i can just shoot between classes. the idea is that i will be doing a series of about 25 and am going to build a little box for them all to go into.

i met this man while shooting for my lighting portfolio. we were shooting down by the homeless shelter in Provo. he stopped me while i was shooting one of the models and said "hey take my picture", so i did. "this is a good jacket for pictures" was the next thing out of his mouth. he was a really nice man, you can feel the kindness in his eyes. he inspired me to do a series on homeless people
