Oooh, they're both fun in their own way. The green matches up with the eyes and the coke glass, which is fun. But I would kill for that dress to actually be that color of red, I think it looks great that way.
I like the complementaryness of the green one with the red but with the red one, the center of focus in the picture is the face, which I like, so I vote red.
Nancy nice to see a new face around here, you're welcome to stop by anytime. Thanks to all who gave their opinion and great input, I think the Reds have it though. As an ad/product shot I think it works better with the attention being drawn to the face. And yes Lauren you are really cool!
Late to the party... but ditto: for an ad the red is it. For art, the green wins. The photo is so fabulous ... you should copyright it or otherwise document it and send it to Coke... do people do things like that? Just a thought.
And, of course, it goes without saying - the best thing in the shot is that amazing young woman. Nice job, Mary! Better start getting your portfolio in order.
The green is good but I definitely prefer the red... it makes Mary's skin look super creamy. It's got more pop to it too. The polka dots make enough contrast for the dress.
First time here. But I definitely like the green dress better. More contrast, I guess.

Thanks Heidi! I'll have to shoot you sometime, in the photographic sense not the ballistic sense.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are incredible. My vote goes for green (though it's probably too late for voting, right?) haha.
ReplyDeleteReally, inspirational photos.
