Guest Numero Seis: Rosemary Larkin

Even though the theme of my photos seems to be vertical shots, I actually thought of it as an On the Road theme since I was traveling the whole time. Most of my pictures were taken on the fly, snapped quickly before hurrying off to the next stop, and for that reason, they aren't quite up to photographical snuff, but I like them. Here's the run down: #1-- a pecan farm. #2--the El Paso/Mexico border. I'm fascinated by the piecemeal culture that has evolved on the border. #3--a pedestrian street with stoplights, which mostly tickled my fancy. #4--a Navajo/Christian hybrid mission in El Paso. Cultural dynamics appeal to my inner nerd and immigrant, and now I'm forcing it on you.

  1. I quite enjoy the arid feel all of these photos have. I almost expect to have my throat coated in dust.

  2. I've been saying "Rosemary Larkin" in my best Irish accent over and over for the last ten minutes. Just so you know. Thanks for the post. And the name. Oh and I'm not creepy. I just like accents. And this post happened to be in front of my face. I know I had that dream about you once, but this is not at all related. K bye.
